Dirty Secrets, Clean Ingredients
When we claim we’re all substance and no fluff, we’re not kidding. We are firm believers in the power of knowledge. So, let’s clear the air on some skincare misconceptions that you may have stumbled upon.
Dirty Secret #1
Natural is not always safe.
Natural ingredients can cause skin irritations and sensitivity issues. These ingredients may not be purified and could be laced with impurities and pesticide residues, making natural products more prone to irritate sensitive skin.
Clean Ingredients: Natural origin is a different story
At Vytle, keeping it clean means ensuring that our ingredients are purified and safe enough even for delicate newborn skin. We only use natural origin ingredients that are minimally treated through safe chemical processing methods, respecting the principles of environmental-friendly green chemistry, and retaining more than half of their original state after processing.
Dirty Secret #2
Dermatologist “tested”, “recommended”, and “formulated”, are not the same.
“Wow, this product must be good since it’s dermatologist tested!”
Well, this label can mean a lot of different things from being tested on humans to animals, for specific features like sensitivity, safety, allergens, moisturising efficacy and so forth, and it does not necessarily mean that it has indeed passed all these tests or that dermatologists who conducted the tests actually endorses them.
“Dermatologist recommended – must be better, right?”
“Dermatologist Formulated” definitely holds more weight. This means that an actual certified skin doctor played a role in creating the product. At Vytle, our ingredients are handpicked by dermatologists, and carefully tested to get the desired results to ensure only the best goes on your skin.
Dirty Secret #3
Synthetic ingredients are not always bad.
