Dirty Secrets,
Clean Ingredients

When we claim we’re all substance and no fluff, we’re not kidding. We are firm believers in the power of knowledge. So, let’s clear the air on some skincare misconceptions that you may have stumbled upon.

Dirty Secret #1

Natural is not always safe.

Natural ingredients can cause skin irritations and sensitivity issues. These ingredients may not be purified and could be laced with impurities and pesticide residues, making natural products more prone to irritate sensitive skin.

Clean Ingredients: Natural origin is a different story

At Vytle, keeping it clean means ensuring that our ingredients are purified and safe enough even for delicate newborn skin. We only use natural origin ingredients that are minimally treated through safe chemical processing methods, respecting the principles of environmental-friendly green chemistry, and retaining more than half of their original state after processing.

Dirty Secret #2

Dermatologist “tested”, “recommended”, and “formulated”, are not the same.

“Wow, this product must be good since it’s dermatologist tested!”

Well, this label can mean a lot of different things from being tested on humans to animals, for specific features like sensitivity, safety, allergens, moisturising efficacy and so forth, and it does not necessarily mean that it has indeed passed all these tests or that dermatologists who conducted the tests actually endorses them.

“Dermatologist recommended – must be better, right?”

The real question here is, are the recommendations genuine? While it might appear reliable, the dermatologist endorsing the product could be affiliated with the company or simply engaging in paid promotion. Yet, it’s also plausible that the product genuinely comes with a dermatologist’s recommendation. The snag is, there are no strict regulations on how brands employ this label for their products. We would recommend that it’s wise to take it with a pinch of salt.
Clean Ingredients: We are formulated by a real-deal dermatologist.

Dermatologist Formulated” definitely holds more weight. This means that an actual certified skin doctor played a role in creating the product. At Vytle, our ingredients are handpicked by dermatologists, and carefully tested to get the desired results to ensure only the best goes on your skin.

Dirty Secret #3

Synthetic ingredients are not always bad.

Synthetic ingredients are created in a lab, often from natural ingredients. While some synthetic skincare ingredients have developed a bad reputation, like parabens, silicones, and phthalates that trigger skin sensitivity reactions, not all synthetic ingredients are harmful. Some are even beneficial and loved by many, like hyaluronic acid, retinol and ceramides.
Clean Ingredients: We only use what’s safe for you!
We didn’t just stop at dropping all the deadweight with Vytle. When it comes to ceramides, we don’t hold back. With a whopping 5 types of skin-identical ceramides to boot, our moisturiser works wonders in locking in moisture and restoring your skin’s protective barrier, much better than the other competitor brands in the market.

Nothing to hide

At Vytle, we’ve got your back, literally! Our goodies aren’t just whipped up by any old Joe – they’re crafted by a legit dermatologist, who cares deeply about what is good (and not good) for you. Besides the fact that we use a combination of safe, high quality synthetic, and natural origin ingredients, we go further by clinically testing them to be hypoallergenic.
